Beautiful views, can be windy
Scolty car park was quite busy on 2nd January 2019. The car park meter was not working so we could not purchase a ticket. Leaving the car park was a bit tricky as we met some cars head on which did not go round the one way system.
Nice and long country walks, great views from top of hill.
Nice car park with picnic tables. Slightly annoyed that you have to pay... especially since they haven't even provided rubbish bins. Nice wee surprise, at the end of September, was to find bushes full of very tasty blackberries.
A range of walks, beautiful forest. Maybe though to get on top with small kids. There are a couple of tables with benches near parking. No toilets. There is a fee for parking.
