The service was great, food was excellent. Such a lovely establishment.

simple food cooked well - excellently actually.

Great fish and chips take a way with resealable price

Food was good, views from their restaurant are beautiful (we watched the sun set while we dined), staff were helpful... It was a good experience. At first the quantity of food on our plates looked quite small but we weren't hungry after our meal. The only thing missing were some vegetables (none on our plates and none on any of the surrounding tables we peaked at). Maybe a small leaf here or there, but not a pea, carrot or been in site. Some wouldn't class potatoes as a vegetable, but they are worth a mention anyway. The chips were epic. Really nice!Give the place a go. I think you'll enjoy it.

Quite exceptional modern exterior design with plenty of parking space. Attractive outdoor dining area. Passing the door to the fish restaurant take-away (which gets a great name - I must try it) we enter the even more attractive interior, and are swiftly shown to a table in the conservatory, with views over open countryside to the north of Banchory and to the Hill of Fayre beyond. The menu for Sunday lunch was not extensive, but had beef, chicken and fish and vegetarian main courses, all locally sourced and cooked by an obvious expert. I had proper roast beef, nice and pink, succulent and tender, gravy, Yorkshire pudding and of course gravy. The roast potatoes and veg were just right! Forget what my starter was now - it was eclipsed by the generous roast! Not able for pudding. Prices were reasonable for the quality on offer. But best of all, the staff took time to have cheery discussion with their guests. We're returning tomorrow with guests!
